Meeting Agenda for September 10th, 2015

AGENDA for this evening's meeting: gavel to order by cow and frog guy at 6:56 pm; PASTOR DAVE'S PRAYER @ 7pm;

motion to approve minutes of 8/13/15 meeting; motion to approve treasurer's report;

a BIG "THANK YOU" to all who attended August's C.O.P.S.' meeting; it is MUCH APPRECIATED; thanks for being here tonight;

a plug for CHANT (Community Health Alliance of North Tonawanda); their mission is: "To reduce substance use among youth by empowering our community as we monitor, assess, and contribute to the revitalization of a safe and healthy North Tonawanda." This is a group worthy/deserving of NT citizen support.

C.O.P.S did join The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas; cost for C.O.P.S. is $105.00;

C.O.P.S. will meet on Thursday, December 10th, and City Court Judge Jeff Mis will attend this meeting; we hope that this meeting will not interfere with the Christmas Season;

need location for the November and December C.O.P.S.' meetings; October 8th meeting is for 2nd Ward at Redeemer Lutheran Church- Judge Lewis will attend; November 12th meeting is for 3rd Ward - Chief Hall from the NTPD will attend; December 10th meeting is for 1st Ward - Judge Mis will attend;

Oliver Street cleanup is on Saturday, September 12th from 9am to 12 noon; meet at 308 Oliver Street;

Bill DeMonte will discuss "re-hab" emergency scene provisions and help;

discuss shirts for C.O.P.S. done by Officer Ben from the North Tonawanda Police Department;

Mike Fisher administers split club drawing;

discussion: mission statement re-wording?; note: see other side of this sheet under "Mission statement for C.O.P.S." for the possible change:

C.O.P.S.' term limits; funding for progressive bike skills course; let our local elected speakers talk;

old business; thoughts/concerns/suggestions/ideas, etc.
